Animal Communication: 3 Tools to Enhance Your Communication Skills

How some simple and effective ways can make one truly comfortable with animal communication

For many communicators, the space between learning and practicing communication can feel huge. The start of the journey can feel unclear, often tiring and even uninviting. So if you learned this beautiful skill but are yet to fully embrace its practice, you are not alone! Initially, I struggled too and here are a few things that helped me get really comfortable:

1. Take a fresh look at the world- Now you have the unique ability to understand the world around you at a much deeper, personal level. You can communicate with pretty much everyone and everything- ethically, of course!- without any expectation, pressure or desired outcome.

This kind of practice also builds the “communication muscles”- unique ways of receiving messages, discovering your strongest ‘clair’, where you are developing, and more.

Whenever possible, I communicate with animals around me, my spirit animals and my home both to keep my communication senses well oiled and to discover the subtle changes in the way I receive messages- it is always evolving. So Day 1 and Day 100 of practice will vary vastly!

2. Understand Animals Better- Often animals communicate that behaviour that is bothering their humans, is their natural way of being. Given their history and age, they are doing just what they are supposed to. So, basic understanding of breeds and developmental milestones is valuable and at some point an animal will likely ask you to undertake this kind of learning.

A feisty Beagle once asked me to thoroughly understand his breed and explain to his human, who was truly tired of his antics, that he is not broken, or malfunctioning, this is how he is designed! He also shared a number of ways to bring ease to their relationship (detailed in my upcoming book!)

3. Energetically Convey Your Openness- When we put effort into our practice including in the ways mentioned above, we nurture it, expand it, open our hearts and energy to it. It’s a lightning rod to the magical energy of the Universe.

When you just keep at it, you energetically convey this: I love and appreciate this gift, I nurture it, please give me more of it! That’s the loudest, clearest signal to send out into the Universe and as I see it, the Universe reflects this enthusiasm and many doors open!

Telepathic communication and energy healing are not supported by scientific evidence, and what is written here reflects Mona’s own practice and belief rather than established science. None of it is medical or veterinary advice, and it is never a substitute for care from your doctor or your animal’s vet.
