4 Great Ways to Use a Communication Session

When people reach out seeking to talk to their companion animal, their enthusiasm and hope is infectious. It is a joy to talk to an animal, be a bridge and convey all that they have to say. Sometimes people may be unsure or even apprehensive, especially if they are new to animal communication. So here are 4 ways to approach a conversation with your companion animal and make the most of it:

1. Be open:

A communication that allows your animal to be who they are, have their say, is one that gets the animal excited to talk, share, opine on matters and be themselves. It is like a conversation with a loved one- there’s trust, respect, openness, knowing you will be heard, and you extend the same to them. So, if you accept their autonomy, do not intend to tell them what to do, be prepared to have a great time talking to your companion animal!

2. Ask for what you need from your companion animal:

Long hours at work impacting the animal’s routine or they have to be in boarding or a new sitter is arriving or they really need to eat what the vet recommended - even though it is the third change of diet in the past few months! - typical scenarios that cause you worry and you don’t know how to get your animal to cooperate. You can share all this with your animal beforehand through communication. It prepares them and you too- animals share things that make transitions easy for both of you. They love you and are willing supporters. So don’t instruct, just ask and you may very well receive their love, cooperation and more!

3. Be ready to receive guidance:

An animal’s presence is a dimension of wisdom and guidance that may remain untapped unless we listen. And yes, communication skills are innate, you can absolutely talk to them on your own! Animals often share things their human needs to work on. Recurring lessons are self love, healthy boundaries, forgiveness and letting go, and taking that step that feels so scary!

Wisdom wisdom!

4. Be ready to be doused in love and warmth:

This is reason enough to talk! Animals often share their deep love for their human, the antics they perform only to watch their human laugh uncontrollably or their human’s quirks that they absolutely love!  Animals also express their support for their human’s struggle and extend their warmth when things are hard. It is a constant reminder that you are not alone, there is unconditional love right beside you, bundled in your lap, unsuccessfully swatting flies, or curled up on your bed, where you said they are not allowed!

Hope you have a lovely, heartwarming, fun conversation! :)

Telepathic communication and energy healing are not supported by scientific evidence, and what is written here reflects Mona’s own practice and belief rather than established science. None of it is medical or veterinary advice, and it is never a substitute for care from your doctor or your animal’s vet.
